This is the second consecutive year that Harvey's Point has been chosen as one of Ireland's best hotels by TripAdvisor.
Situated on the shores of Lough Eske, this unique property was also voted as the only Irish Hotel in the top 25 hotels of Europe in the annual awards. It received over a thousand reviews from guests which are personally replied to by the owners.
Reacting to the news, hotelier Deirdre McGlone said: ‘It came as a huge and exciting surprise. We are thrilled to be rated as the Number One Hotel in Ireland and we are very grateful to our guests who posted reviews on TripAdvisor. We are even more surprised and delighted to be rated No 11 in all of Europe, which means that we were chosen from among thousands of hotels, including famous five star properties. Our success in this and other awards, is a credit to the professionalism, friendliness and dedication of our team at Harvey’s Point Hotel, each of whom plays a vital role in delivering a superb service to our guests’
Travellers may use official star ratings as a guide but it is TripAdvisor where genuine travellers express their opinions. These opinions then help other members of the TripAdvisor community to make their choice with confidence.
"TripAdvisor is once again thrilled to recognise the world’s most outstanding hotels with the help of more than 75 million reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe,” said Christine Petersen, president, TripAdvisor for Business.
