Donegal Golf Club

Donegal Golf Club on the Murvagh peninsula in Donegal Bay, hence it is generally known as Murvagh, just six miles from Donegal Town, one mile off the N15 on the south side. The links is isolated from the outside world by a forest of evergreens washed on one side by the great Atlantic Ocean and with a panoramic view of the Bluestack Mountains. Covering over 7200 yards, it gives big strikers plenty of room to strut their stuff. A combination of classic dunes land and the drama of sheer precipitous ridges are features of this memorable challenge, Localities are divided on which is best, the par three 5th or par five 8th - for one it is accuracy the other distance, take your pick and enjoy! Championship distance 7241 yards. |

An excellent course laid out in two 9 holes loops with the ninth and eighteenth greens close to the clubhouse. The course which is for the most part undulating is picturesquely situated commanding at all parts splendid views of Donegal bay and the mountains piled up inland. Bundoran Golf Club has been in existence since 1894. It's crafty 1930's Harry Vardon design and exposure to the elements makes it play tough to a par of 70. The undulating par four fifteenth fully deserves its stroke index 1. At 430 yards a long second shot calls for pin sharp accuracy to well protected green. This was the home 'patch' for Christy O'Connor Snr.,and it was here he did the basic ground work on a swing wick was to bring him to the pinnacle of his profession. Championship distance 6222 yards. |

Castle Hume Championship Golf Course is situated on the beautiful shores of Lower Lough Erne, only a few minutes drive from Enniskillen out the Belleek-Donegal Road.
