Your Host Paddy Gysling
|
Blessed with one of Ireland’s most beautiful locations, on the shores of Lough Eske, this hotel was first opened by the Gysling family in the late 1980s, with chalet-style buildings linked by covered walkways and pergolas creating a distinctly alpine atmosphere reminiscent of their native Switzerland - a style that suited the site well, with the open low-level design allowing views of the lough and mountains from most areas of the hotel. |

The architecture blends perfectly with the magnificent surroundings, providing luxurious accommodation and every modern convenience as well as plenty of fresh air and breathtaking scenery. Peaceful, airy bedrooms are elegantly decorated with pure relaxation in mind. Wooden floors and classic furniture create a harmonious atmosphere and lovely French doors open out onto rolling lawns and pretty gardens that stretch all the way to the shores of the loch. Only the splashing of trout and singing of birds break the silence. Some rooms have four-poster. Harvey’s Point is renowned for its superb cuisine: recipient of the prestigious AA 2 Rosette Award and the RAC Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence. Delicious Celtic dishes are wonderfully imaginative and served with an impressive list of international wines with the finest vintages.
