Ingredients:
- 350g wholemeal flour
- 100g strong white flour
- 300mls buttermilk
- 1 tsp bicarbonate soda
- 1tsp salt
- 1tsp sugar
- 100g porridge oats
Method:
- Heat oven to 200 degrees
- Sive fours into a bowl
- Add all other dry ingredients
- Add buttermilk and mix with your hands until a dough forms
- Do not over mix
- Form into a ball and and place into a greased baking tray
- Cook for 30 minutes or until it sounds hollow when tapped
- Cool on a wire rack
