**Please note when travelling from Sligo / Donegal Town your Sat Nav may direct you to take a left turn to Harvey’s Point at ‘Brownes Car Garage’, this road is unfit for coaches or heavy vehicles and it is strongly advisable not to take this route. Continue on the N15 for 4km (3 mins) and take a left turn off the N15 just after DMG Motors, you will see Harvey’s Point signposted here. Continue on this road for 2.9km (5 mins), then take a sharp right. Harvey’s Point will be signposted here. Continue on this road for 1.4km (2 mins) and you will meet Harvey’s Point on the right-hand side of the road.

Yes, Harvey’s Point has installed 6 EV charging points for our guests. Conveniently located in the hotel car park for Hotel Resident’s use. Each charger has dual sockets and a ‘How to use’ guide is visible to assist with activating the charge. Download the ePower App Click here for details on how to download the app and the user guide. Guests are asked to bring their own lead to plug into the socket.
For reservations up to and including 4 nights, we will require at least 48hrs cancellation notice. Long-length reservations; 5 nights or more, we require at least 7 days cancellation notice. Otherwise, full charges for the accommodation package will apply and will be deducted from the credit card number supplied to guarantee your booking. If you have any queries regarding our cancellation policy please contact our reservations team.
Cancellation policy for entertainment events – Our cancellation policy for Entertainment Packages is 7 days** This cancellation policy supersedes and voids any previously stated or implied cancellation policies. Only the terms outlined here will apply to cancellations -(bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival will be charged for accommodation package plus tickets)

Yes, all rooms are available to book on single occupancy. The Lodge @ Harvey’s Point is particularly suitable and affordable.
Some rooms have views of the mountains and some have Lake views. The best views are on the third-floor lakeside, fourth-floor Balcony Rooms or Lakeshore suites.
All rooms are strictly non-smoking. A €250 cleaning charge applies if guests smoke in bedrooms.
Yes, we have 14 specifically designed rooms for wheelchair access. Bathrooms are wheelchair friendly. Two rooms have lowered beds. There are no steps from the accommodation block through to the bar or restaurant. We can supply wheelchairs on the property if required.

Yes, there are some brown trout and salmon in the lake. Boats are for hire in the nearby Fisheries Board office. Permits can be bought there also. Ghillie service available.

The dedicated Harvey’s Point ‘Green Team’ is working tirelessly to improve our environmental practices including energy, single-use plastic and water usage. It means that we are measuring water, energy and waste usage on a monthly basis and trying to reduce consumption, where possible. We were delighted to achieve a Silver Level Award in October 2022 and in May 2023 we were awarded the Gold Level Award. It is a journey, a journey that we are excited to be part of. In 2024, we are focusing on building staff awareness around sustainability.
Harvey’s Point Hotel is required by law under the Payment of Wages Act 1991 as amended to distribute to our Team Members any tips or gratuities received by us by electronic means, and we are committed to our obligations under this referenced legislation and the associated SI 545 of 2022 Payment of Wages Act 1991 (Display of Notices) Regulations 2022
Tips that are collected by cash & electronic means are distributed among Team Members based on the number of hours worked. The Company deducts the appropriate tax from all Tips received however no other deductions are made to Tips.
