Creative Writing Retreat

What could be better than writing and relaxing at Harveys Point? You may want to start writing or continue something you've already started. In this supportive environment, we will access inspiration and ideas by using the tools of the five senses, music, clay, photographs, memorabilia for eg. The influence of Poetry and Prose from established writers will also be used.
No writing experience is necessary for our Creative Writing Retreat. Writers of all levels and experience are welcome.

Explore your artistic side and foster a lifelong hobby with an inspirational ‘Painting Break in Ireland” at Harvey’s Point Hotel, Donegal.
Spend your days developing a range of skills and techniques, under the expert guidance of renowned artist Conal McIntyre.
Born in Glencolmcille, County Donegal, studied at Limerick Art School in the 70’s and later attended Putney School of Art in London,
Conal worked in graphic design in London and West Sussex. Conal also taught art for several years between Derry, London and Khartoum and continues to teach art locally in Glencolmcille.
Conal works mostly in oils but has tried his hand at etching, tapestry, stone sculpture and pen and ink drawings.

About your teacher
Anne-Marie McGlinchey is a renowned yoga teacher. She is a Fellow of the Yoga Society International, the founder of the Yoga Society Ireland and Dunree Yoga Centre, conducting seminars/workshops in all aspects of yoga for over 30 years. Anne-Marie believes everyone can benefit from yoga regardless of age or level of flexibility. It is invaluable support in helping people of all ages to deal more positively with life. Her background as a primary school teacher and kinesiologist has enhanced her work as an educator and communicator. Anne-Marie, a native of Buncrana, is happy to be returning to her roots and sharing her inner journey with others. The keynote is “be in the moment”.
