Accommodation Supervisor

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with  Supervisor experience in a similar environment, to join our award-winning team.

Primary Objectives

*To provide clean and well-maintained bedrooms, public areas and back of house areas for all guests.

*To maximize guest satisfaction and to ensure that all our customers receive the level of care and attention that exceeds their expectations.

*To be active, proactive and achieve results. All work is carried out in line with the Hotel’s guidelines and Harvey’s Point service concepts.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

Overall supervision of the accommodation team, ensuring a very high level of service at all times.
To provide spotlessly clean bedrooms for all guests.
To ensure all corridors, pantries are clean and well maintained on your floor.
To report and hand in lost property to your supervisor.
To ensure that any special requests are adhered to in the guest bedroom.
To ensure that guests are well looked after at all times before, during and after their stay.
To show respect for other team members at all times.
To ensure all accommodation trolleys are adequately stocked and cleaned.
To ensure weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning is carried out as requested by accommodation supervisor.
To ensure all bathrooms are hygienically cleaned.
To ensure all electrical items are in working order.
To carry out daily cleaning of rooms and additional other duties as requested by the accommodation manager or supervisor.
To ensure a high level of security at all times with regard to master keys and guests bedrooms.
To report any maintenance items to your supervisor.
To report any suspicious behaviour of guests to a member of the management team.
To control the amount of equipment, cleaning materials and guests supplies.
To be on time for all shifts and to ensure that you sign in and out for every shift worked.
To carry out duties as directed by management.

Senior Pastry Chef

We are seeking a creative & talented Senior Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team of Chefs. Under the guidance of Executive Head Chef, Chris McMenamin you will seek to offer our guests a high quality of Desserts and Pastries and seek to maintain our established reputation as a top food destination in Donegal.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HACCP, is organised with excellent attention to detail and is passionate about food and delivering consistently high standards.

Requirements:

A strong background in pastry and have a passion for creativity
Will be creative when it comes to menu design and concepts
Must be a team player

Must be dedicated to maintaining customer satisfaction
Must have knowledge of HACCP

Front Desk - Receptionist/Reservations Agent

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique, memorable and personal experiences for our guests during the process of check-in, check-out, reservations, and will report directly to the Front Office Manager. He or she should have intuitive responsiveness to the expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs of our guests.

Core Responsibilities:

·         Provide excellent service, build strong relationships, anticipate and exceed the guests’ expectations

·         Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in/out and complete audit procedures, as required

·         Take ownership of guests’ issues and take action to resolve immediately

Requirements:

Good command of English in both verbal and written communication

 A natural ability to sell the Harvey’s Point Experience

Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Working on rotating shifts, including weekends

Experience in revenue management systems desirable

Knowledge of Hotsoft PMS an advantage

Minimum two years in a similar, luxury 4/5 star hotel essential
