Harvey's Point is delighted to announce the appointment of Colin Bradley as the new Head Chef.

After an impressive career working in some of the greatest kitchens in the World under and with some amazing chefs, Colin Bradley returns to Harvey’s Point as Head Chef.

After his culinary qualification at the respected Cathal Brugha College, Dublin his journey brought him to all manner of places and experiences. Colin always wanted to experience many different cookery experiences and that he certainly did, from working in the famed Newpark hotel in his native Kilkenny, a Fishing trawler out of Killybegs and on to The Savoy in London. After a  stint at Jurys Hotel Kensington, his travels took him to the Channel Islands and Head Chef at the highly regarded private club, The Victoria in St. Helier. Famous restaurants like Kitty Kelly’s were a high point and his skills earned it an international reputation. He helped secure a No 1 best Gastro Pub Award for The Thatch in Glenties and the early days did a term also at the famous Donegal hotel, The Shandon.

Colin also managed to do an additional degree in advanced pastry at the renowned Catering College in Killybegs! He is passionate about locally produced food and ethical farming. He loves a challenge and seeks in his own words to enhance already high standards of food presented to our wonderful guests at every turn by involving everyone in the Team, and indeed suppliers.

He joined Harvey’s Point for several years and learned the ropes under the guidance of Head Chef Chris Mc Menamin and now as fate decrees, he is returning in that very same role.
