Ireland’s Ridge Wine Event of the Year
This November, wine lovers are invited to escape to the shores of Lough Eske for an extraordinary evening of fine wine, award-winning cuisine and warm Donegal hospitality.
On 4th November, Harvey’s Point will host Ireland’s Ridge Vineyards wine event of the year, an exclusive celebration of one of California’s most respected wineries, with Katie Blakely, International Sales Director for Ridge Vineyards, joining us personally to guide guests through the wines, bringing 20 years of experience in the hospitality and wine industry and more than a decade with Ridge.
Presented in association with JN Wine, the evening will take place in our beautiful Lakeside Restaurant, where Executive Chef Colin Bradley and his team will create a bespoke six-course tasting menu, with each course carefully paired with a Ridge wine.
Set against the spectacular backdrop overlooking Lough Eske and the Bluestack Mountains, it promises to be one of the highlights of the season and the perfect reason for a luxurious winter escape to Donegal.
Katie holds professional certifications from several internationally respected wine organisations, including the North American Sommelier Association, Society of Wine Educators and Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Today, she represents Ridge on the global stage, overseeing exports to 48 countries.
Her knowledge of Ridge and its wines will bring each pairing to life, offering guests a fascinating insight into the vineyards, vintages, winemaking philosophy and stories behind every glass.
Award-Winning Cuisine at Harvey’s Point
While Ridge provides the inspiration, the culinary experience will be unmistakably Harvey’s Point.
At the heart of the evening is Executive Chef Colin Bradley, who will lead the Harvey’s Point culinary team in creating an exclusive six-course pairing menu specifically for the occasion.
Known for its warm hospitality and exceptional dining experiences, Harvey’s Point has long placed food at the heart of the guest experience. In the Lakeside Restaurant, Colin and his team combine superb ingredients, creativity and accomplished cooking to showcase the very best of the season.
For this special dinner, each course will be carefully considered alongside its accompanying Ridge wine, allowing food and wine to complement and enhance one another throughout the evening.
